Public Awareness is an important aspect of Soroptimist activities. Making known to the public and to the community its programs and services provide more meaning and impact to the Soroptimist mission of improving the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world.

PUBLIC AWARENESS

On Aug. 16, 2010, the signing of SI Mandaluyong’s Memorandum of Agreements for its Adopt-a-Barangay and Adopt-a-PNP-WCPD programs was held in the presence of the Hon. Mayor of Mandaluyong City, Benhur C. Abalos, as principal signing witness. This was held during the Mayor’s regular Monday program at the Mandaluyong City Hall, wherein SI Mandaluyong was honored for its 16th founding anniversary and the celebration of Soroptimist Week.
